Adviser in geopolitical, historical and humanitarian issues

With a broad and deep understanding of geopolitics, the historical origins of today's world problems, and humanitarian, aid and development issues, I work as an advisor, researcher and intelligence source serving individuals, civil society and governmental organisations and NGOs.

Historical intelligence: with a broad and global understanding of the history of nations, ethnic groups and cultures, I provide contextual information and understanding of the roots of today's critical situations, and the social-psychological background to them. This can include reports, brainstorming, research, discussions and information-gathering journeys. Unusual insights and sources of information. Historical perspectives you might not have understood before.

Geopolitical analysis: with an eye on longterm trends and future possibilities, I advise on international, inter-ethnic and inter-cultural relations. Problem-solving, report-writing, research, advisory services and intel-gathering. Speciality in Muslim-world and Asian affairs, relations between the developed and developing world and alternative models of aid and development.

Humanitarian, aid and development advisory services: with experience in conflict-resolution, cultural change, social development and international relations, I have ways of bringing to light new options, valuable information and perspectives in social change, development, peace-building and humanitarian issues. Research and intel-gathering field missions.

Reports, analyses, ground-level intelligence-gathering, research into the background factors behind today's events. I am also a webmaster, writer, editor and photographer.

My approach is non-academic, close to the ground and innovative - global, cross-cultural, diplomatic and empathic. Profound understanding of the beliefs and realities of different societies and cultures, providing much constructive food for thought and uncovering solutions to knotty international and intercultural issues. I have a good grasp of where the future is going.
