Palden Jenkins

Palden Jenkins

In Britain I am now based in West Penwith, Cornwall, working with the Parallel Community and other things. Between June and September 2009 and increasingly I am committed to working in Bethlehem, Palestine at the Hope Flowers School & Community Development Centre - see my Middle East blog.

My work currently has three main branches:
  • humanitarian work in the Middle East and social transformation in Britain;
  • communication: writing, speech, photography and websites;
  • knowledge and insight: counsellor, adviser, historian and geopolitical expert.

I'm a pedigree 1960s veteran (Liverpool and LSE), with a long, consistent track record since then. I've been called a 'pathological altruist' and a 'philanthropist, not with money'. I seek and welcome financial and other support for my Palestine work.

Broad and deep insights and perspectives, with a nose for underlying trends and future possibilities. Creator of several innovative projects and organisations, author of five books, editor of 50ish books, humanitarian webmaster, conceptualiser, teacher, seer, consultant and public speaker.
