My blog Palden in the Middle East tells what has been happening during recent trips to Palestine, since this book was written.

A book is more thought-through and comprehensive than a blog. A blog is written in the moment, reporting situations and experiences as they arise, though there is an intuitive flow to it. Pictures of Palestine was based on my 2009 blog which was then re-edited to include extra information, perspectives and explanations, and polished up too. This is the virtue of a book, properly edited and reviewed before publication.
