glastonburyradio.net

This was a site for a new startup Internet radio station called Glastonbury Radio, which broadcast radio programmes worldwide. The station's need was temporary, to maintain and improve a basic website for a vital five months before a new content-managed high-tech site was instituted.

Glastonbury Radio

The site had been designed elsewhere, but many details had been omitted, programme schedules were changing rapidly (requiring appropriate graphics and text), and the text-presentation on the site was very poor. So I edited and copywrote text, sorted out presentations of programmes and their presenters, did photography, fixed graphics and handled other technicalities, to take the radio station through its vital start-up phase.

During the transition to the new site, created by a web-techie, I helped with the details of the transfer. I also ran my own programme on the station (though that was a separate issue).

During my 'watch' the site looked credible and informative, and its ratings on search engines rose visibly.
