glastonburyradio.netThis was a site for a new startup Internet radio station called Glastonbury Radio, which broadcast radio programmes worldwide. The station's need was temporary, to maintain and improve a basic website for a vital five months before a new content-managed high-tech site was instituted. ![]() The site had been designed elsewhere, but many details had been omitted, programme schedules were changing rapidly (requiring appropriate graphics and text), and the text-presentation on the site was very poor. So I edited and copywrote text, sorted out presentations of programmes and their presenters, did photography, fixed graphics and handled other technicalities, to take the radio station through its vital start-up phase. ![]() During the transition to the new site, created by a web-techie, I helped with the details of the transfer. I also ran my own programme on the station (though that was a separate issue). During my 'watch' the site looked credible and informative, and its ratings on search engines rose visibly. |
