sacredbritain.com

This site is for an Anglo-American company in Vermont, USA, running tours of ancient sites and crop circles in Britain. They also run an annual conference in Vermont.

Here's their current front page...

Sacred Britain Tours

And here's the front page for the 2006 version of the site (the site is changed each year, for the coming season).

Sacred Britain - entry page

The company runs four tours per year in England, for 12-20 people each. So the number of clients sought is not large.

But the four-figure price means that potential customers need addressing carefully, to give them a full and proper impression of what is offered.

The site also presents original research into crop formations, and also an annual conference located in Vermont, USA. This next page is the 2007 version, with somewhat bolder background graphics:

And here's the 2005-06 version of the same page, with softer background graphics. Also, a newsletter with interesting articles had been added to the content on this page.

This site uses an online booking form to be printed out and sent in by post. In this business, with limited places available and high-priced products, simple online ordering and payment is not necessarily appropriate - it's necessary for the site-owners to talk to their customers individually before they take the order and payment.

Finally, here is a special presentation I created, with captions written by me, to help persuade prospective customers that these tours really are unforgettably special! The idea here is to give them an capacity to visualise themselves taking the tour, and to get a sense of what happens on tour. Look at the 'clincher' statement at the bottom.
