Sir George Trevelyan (1906-1996) was an enlightened educationalist and was fondly regarded as 'the grandfather of the British new age movement'.

The site contains biographies, writings, online books, a library of photos and a full feature on Attingham Park, an adult education college run by Sir George between 1948 and 1972.

Sir George was a true pioneer, and this site serves as an historical record of his life and work. He was popular with thousands of people and played a key role in seeding and promoting new ideas in the 1950s and 1960s.
