This is an abridged audiobook version of the book Shining Land (available here). This version has a bit more about megalithic civilisation and a bit less about Penwith's ancient sites. The ancient sites are covered in detail in the book.
This is alternative archaeology, about the geomantic, subtle-energy side of ancient sites and landscape temples. It's about power points, leylines, underground water, astronomy, landscape management, medicine, energy-resonance and awareness.
Ancient sites cannot really be understood without seeing things this way. It's heretical to say this, but it's nevertheless true.
The people of the Neolithic and the Bronze Age knew something that we don't. This knowhow is surprisingly important in our day.
This strangely radiant land, far beyond, is an ancient, ocean-bound landscape temple that still today zizzles with energy and atmosphere.

It's about the principles of geomancy as they manifest here in Penwith, at the far end of Cornwall. This little peninsula, dense with ancient sites, provides a great example of how ancient geomantic principles worked.

'Shining Land' is a translation of the name Belerion, by which the Greeks and Romans knew Penwith. Penwith, or Pennwydh in Cornish, means 'far beyond'. Which it is.
